We have decided to temporarily close down our Facebook Page. The main reason for the shutdown is to avoid information duplication. After all, the content that is offered at our Facebook Page is also offered here at AB Computing.
We are looking into ways to develop new content for the AB Computing Facebook Page and until we develop a new model our Facebook page will be closed. We will keep you informed about our presence on Facebook.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are about to impose usage-based billing on YOU.
This means we’re looking at a future where ISPs will charge per byte, the way they do with smart phones. If we allow this to happen Canadians will have no choice but to pay MUCH more for less Internet. Big Telecom companies are obviously trying to gouge consumers, control the Internet market, and ensure that consumers continue to subscribe to their television services. Beginning on January 15, 2011, the 705 area code region will begin to adopt 10-digit local dialing (the area code followed by the phone number). This change will apply to all local communications in areas serviced by the 705 area code.
Between now and January 15, 2011, all residential and business consumers in the 705 area code region must reprogram telephone and communications equipment to comply with 10-digit local dialing.
Beginning on January 15, 2011, if you forget to include the area code when
placing a local call in the 705 region, a recorded announcement will remind you to do so. It is crucial to adopt the 10-digit dialing and reprogram all telephone and communication equipment before January 15, 2011 as call completion may be affected by this recorded announcement.
